Writing Guidelines
To maintain quality and consistency, we follow these editorial guidelines:
What to Include:
- Original Content Only – Your article must not be published elsewhere, including your own blog. Google penalizes duplicate content.
- Word Count – Minimum 1,000 words per article.
- Photographs – Include at least 3 high-quality images, each minimum 1024px wide. Portrait shots should be 800px wide.
- Videos (Optional) – You can embed relevant YouTube videos to enhance your article.
- Author Bio & Photo – Submit a brief bio (50–100 words) with your profile photo and any social or blog links you want featured.

Note: We do not offer payment for submissions, nor do we charge for publishing. Our focus is on community building and exposure.
How to Submit
Please email your blog post to bestthingsofdubai@gmail.com with the subject line: “Your Name – Writing for BestThingsOfDubai.com”
Attach the following:
- Your article as a Google Doc or Word document
- The title of the article should not go beyond 70 characters.
- Include relevant, high-quality images (with proper credits if needed).
- Optional: Embed codes or video links
- Your profile photo, bio, and social/website links
- Include the Title, Category, Focus Keyword, Meta Title, and Meta Description of your article.
Review & Approval Process
- We review all submissions carefully to ensure they meet our content standards.
- Please allow up to 1 week for review.
- If your article is selected, we will contact you with next steps and estimated publication date.
Please note that we retain editorial control on any content submitted. By submitting content to us you confirm that you will not submit it to any other website and that all content submitted (text, images, videos etc) belongs to you.
